Of Bloom and the Blood - Entry to Impressions Composing Jam: OST #2

Thought Process: I’ve kept the concept of the construction quite simple - the struggle between humanity and nature - two themes run throughout the 5 pieces with each striving for power at different points throughout the work.

Whilst writing I was keeping a platformer or adventure RPG in mind.

Influences: I’ve been a sucker for Nintendo games all of my life and so Koji Kondo (particularly the LOZ series) is knitted into a lot of what I do - also love Gareth Coker and Bear McCreary’s work.

Feedback: Would love to hear what you guys think - I’m fairly new to game jams, this is my second, but really keen to break into writing for games so any advice/guidance would be gratefully received.
